Manager, HMS Systems Applications and Support
This is a full-time position with a client company in the Nashville, TN area.
SUMMARY:
Under limited supervision, manages and coordinates the HMS System Application processes as deployed by client company. Provides effective leadership, planning and management skills to company system projects. Travel could be 50%+.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Develop and manage system requirements and standards to support company reporting and application initiatives.
2.Provide input to operations area on system requirements and sizing to provide technical road map that will allow for growth plans.
3.Lead teams in setting and meeting aggressive but realistic goals.
4.Track assignment and progress of action items, proactively identify potential issues and take action to prevent time delays
5.Develop overall system security processes to ensure we are providing the correct access for all employees and employ proper safeguards for access to application systems.
6.Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with technology systems; implements solutions or notifies outsource providers as required.
7. Develop and document data access standards to include query reporting.
8.Ensure system implementation projects are planned effectively and lead communication efforts with field. Key corporate resource as HMS liaison.
9.Communicates regularly with executive management regarding the status of current project initiatives; obtains executive guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives.
10.Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
AA degree with at least 5 years of HMS experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Must be open to 50%+ travel.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
"Knowledge of system applications (specifically HMS).
"Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
"Ability to analyze complex problems, interprets operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
"Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analysis, and develop computer-generated flow charts.
"Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
"Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
"Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
"Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
"Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
