Lean Manufacturing Manager

Metal fabrication and assembly operation near Montgomery, AL has immediate opening for Lean Manufacturing Manager. The Lean Manufacturing Manager will develop and manage Lean projects and conduct Kaizen events, training and follow-up to ensure continuity of lean efforts. This is a large manufacturing plant that needs a Lean guru to implement systems to improve production efficiency and quality. Position reports directly to the Plant Manager and will interact daily with Production.
Qualified candidates will have experience in Six Sigma along with a minimum of 3 years experience leading plant-wide Lean initiatives. Should also have a background in SPC, SMED and design of experiments. Experience in high-volume durable goods manufacturing is preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires:4-year degree (prefer technical degree)
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead group presentations
Problem Solving skills
Computer skills in MS Office and AutoCAD
Self-Motivated and comfortable working with all levels of management
