Events Manager

Responsible for providing staff support for income development, program and workplace events in the Phoenix Market. Responsible for building volunteer capacity to ensure successful implementation of assigned events. Accountable for obtaining assigned goals.

- Communicates directly with Phoenix Market Managers, Directors or VP’s on all phases of assigned events.

- Orders and maintains products and supplies for assigned events.

- Assists with assigned events that may include: workplace services, daffodils, MSABC, wealthy individual cultivation events, government relations, Relay For Life and other events.

- Assists with Phoenix Market financial processing and record keeping through Siebel as directed. Develops and maintains organized system of files and records.

- Works with Media Relations and Marketing Manager to coordinate promotion of assigned events.

- Works as lead staff with volunteer committees on assigned events and carries out all related responsibilities as directed.

- Develops and cultivates assigned constituent relationships.

- Ensures integration of mission, advocacy and development into all events.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree and/or equivalent work experience. Volunteer management experiences required. Excellent communication and organization skills. Word processing and computer skills. Ability to use personal computer equipment for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Some travel required. The salary is low $20’s +excellent benefit package.
