Director of the Client Technology

The Director of the Client Technology (Client Tech, or CT) group is responsible for the management and monitoring, development and delivery of data and reporting. This position will oversee a group of Leads, Data Analysts and Reporting Analysts who manage and monitor the daily information transfer between Company and our clients and who are responsible for improving Company response time to the clients and for providing a single point of contact for data related information.

The CT Director will provide guidance to the Client Tech group, providing consistency and adherence to corporate goals. This position requires a strong individual with solid technology, leadership and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is an up-and-coming technologist with management experience and who demonstrates maturity, good judgment and the capability to manage multiple, high priority activities for multiple clients.

The successful candidate for this role must be comfortable managing multiple team members in multiple locations and contributing

REQUIREMENTS

Professional Skills
* Minimum of 5 years operational experience with direct line responsibilities managing data functions and reporting
* Solid end user management skills - good at managing productive user relationships
* Ability to manage tasks in an organized basis and ascertain priorities
* Ability to multi-task and maintain focus on operational and project priorities as required
· Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills - ability to guide a team
* Understand the importance of escalation or urgent matters and comfortable reporting them to management
* Strong prioritization abilities for multiple high priority activities across multiple clients
* Strong presentation skills to multiple levels within the Client and Company organizations
* Experience managing staff and directing them on an operational level and project oriented
* Solid Client and internal customer management skills - solid interpersonal skills

Management Skills
* Minimum of 3 years experience managing a team
* Ability to effectively organize and delegate work to staff and vendors
* Ability to respond to project strategy and manage execution of tasks to meet deliverables
* Experience in developing staff and client relationships to create a productive environment
* Ability to manage operating and business risk and support operating standards

Technical Skills
* Understand and use of file transfer diagnostic and monitoring tools
* Hands on experience as a DBA with SQL / Oracle experience
* Web development skills - C+
* Solid understanding of data design
* Strong understanding of reporting design
* Hands on experience with data structures & design
* Understanding of data infrastructure - SAN Architecture
