Director of Food & Beverage

The Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino in Mescalero, New Mexico is seeking a Director of Food & Beverage.

Located minutes away from Ruidoso, New Mexico in the southern mountains of New Mexico, the Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort and Casino is a fast growing 4 diamond luxury resort with two Class 3 casinos, spacious rooms and suites, 40,000 square feet of meeting space, 8 restaurant/bars, recreational activities including championship golf, skiing, fishing, boating, horseback riding and nationally recognized big game hunting.

The Director of Food & Beverage will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for planning, directing and management of the Food and Beverage Division including 8 restaurants/bars with fine dining and casual dining, high volume live action station buffet, sports bar, upscale lounge, nightclub and banquet facilities.
REQUIREMENTS
The preferred candidate will meet the following Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in restaurant management or related field;
5 years experience as a Food & Beverage Director in a 4 diamond or better multi-outlet environment including fine dining, high volume buffet, banquets and central commissary operations
Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
Knowledge of computerized Product Management Software
Experience with central receiving and purchasing
Experience in managing and training a diverse team
Experience working in a Native American or other bi-cultural environment.
