Demonstration Supervisor

We have an immediate opportunity now available for a Demonstration Supervisor to be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of 25 – 35 part time employees to successfully demonstrate Vendor products in a manner that positively reflects the Club Store image.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES include:

STAFFING: Directs all activities engaged in successful demonstration of Vendor products. Recruits, hires and supervises Sales Advisors and Leads, which includes accurate completion of Criminal Background Checks (CBC’s) and new hire paperwork; conducts performance reviews, recommends merit increases or status changes; counsels and disciplines as appropriate. Prepares work schedules and directs activities of Sales Advisors. Trains staff in proper product demonstration and follow-up paperwork.

OPERATIONS: Accurately report daily demonstration results to Accounting and Corporate office. Responsible for accurate and timely payroll input. Ensure adequate sample amounts and quality demonstrations. Oversee the purchases, storage, preparation and serving of products and supplies. Follow and support company policies and procedures and implement changes that occur. Adhere to guidelines of financial goals. Maintain professional, clean, healthy and safe working environment. Train staff in the safety and health program and conduct monthly safety meetings with employees. Attend the club store's safety and management meetings on a monthly basis. Conduct inventory of equipment and ensure maintenance of skillets, carts, etc. May participate in club store grand openings, and travel as requested. Act as liaison with the Club Store & Corporate Management, Area Managers, Schedulers, Vendors, and Sales Advisors. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS & SPECIFICATIONS: Requires a high school education or equivalent. Requires two to four years of related experience performing similar duties. Must be detail oriented with excellent leadership and communication skills. Must be able to coach and counsel employees and take corrective measures as needed. Ability to exercise independent judgment. Requires flexibility and ability to work in cyclically paced environment. Exposure working with a part time work force highly desirable. Individuals with restaurant, hospitality, or retail management experience are encouraged to apply.
