Classified Advertising Manager - Real Estate

The Arizona Republic, the largest metro daily newspaper in the state and part of Gannett Co. Inc., has an immediate opening for an Advertising Manager to oversee our real estate advertising division.
Responsibilities include:

Managing and guiding the development and implementation of marketing strategies, presentations, promotions and programs to attain revenue goals and increase market share.
Coaching staff and building relationships with current and potential advertisers
Budgeting and forecasting revenue and expenses.
Job Requirements
Travel Percentage: 0%Qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years sales experience, 3 years of which be management related. Media sales experience is preferred. Previous real estate experience is extremely desirable. Successful candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, interpersonal and negotiation skills. The ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines and handle multiple priorities is essential. Proven sales ability with strong customer focus is essential. Some travel required.
