Charming Shoppes is the largest plus-size specialty apparel retailer in the Unites States, with nearly 2,500 stores nationwide. We serve the plus-size women through a family of three distinct brands that she knows and trusts: Lane Bryant, Fashion Bug, which includes Fashion Bug Plus, and Catherines. Through our varied fashion concepts, we offer budget to moderate price points, classic to trendy fashion tastes, and mall and strip-center shopping venues for a wide range of ethnically diverse women. We also serve the fashion apparel needs of the Misses and Junior customer through our Fashion Bug division.

Catherines, a growing national plus-size women's apparel retailer needs an enthusiastic individual with 2 to 5 years retail clothing experience and strong management skills to join our team as a full time Assistant Manager.

Manager positions are responsible for staff leadership, sales, merchandising, communication, operations and the profitability of the store.Job Requirements
Qualifications include the ability to:


Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals.

Develop store associate performance in the following areas: sales, loss prevention, hourly production (HP), units per transaction (UPT), charge accounts, etc.

Assign and monitor individual associate goals based on store goals.

Personally demonstrate high level of customer service.

Effectively recruit, hire, train and supervise associates.

Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with customer and/or associate problems/complaints.

Exhibit sound decision-making skills and perform with a minimum of supervision.

Set a positive example for associates regarding all Company guidelines, policies and programs.
