IFCO Systems is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant General Manager for our pallet operation in Birmingham, AL. We are looking for energetic candidates driven to succeed.

Description:

If you’ve ever wanted to learn a successful business from the ground up, this is your opportunity! This is not a classroom training program. From Day One, you will be shadowing the facility’s General Manager, learning all aspects of running the day-to-day operations and managing a manufacturing facility – transportation, logistics, inventory, production scheduling, staffing, sales and marketing, and financials.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess people management skills, strategic thinking ability, strong math and computer skills, and solid presentation skills. A college degree is required, and experience in a production, logistics, manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred. Applicants need a good working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel. Prior experience with P&L and budgets is helpful. Prior experience in sales, especially as related to developing new markets and analyzing current market potentials, is a definite plus.
