We are looking for a friendly, hard working, enthusiastic individual who has strong leadership skills for an Assistant DC General Manager position. The qualified candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, excellent presentation and training skills, competence in information technology skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be knowledgeable in all facets of Distribution Management.
*Is responsible for coordinating and managing the flow of merchandise through the distribution center.
*Monitors, assesses, manages and makes recommendations to key productivity indicators, such as financial, productivity, service and people goals in order to reduce and control costs.
*This position is responsible for ensuring maximum production and optimal safety and cost-effectiveness of the entire Distribution Center operation
*Directs supervisory personnel, determining workforce needs, and communicating any/all policy, procedure, production, reporting and/or scheduling issues.

•B.S. /B.A. strongly preferred. Minimum 7-10 years in warehouse management/leadership position with planning, forecasting and budgeting responsibility.
•Proven team leader able to motivate, coach, counsel, hire and discipline
•Great communication skills are a must
•Ability to work flexible hours and some weekend work is required. This position will require relocation as needed based on business needs.
