Area Sales Manager - Business Center - Philadelphia

We provide on and offsite management of an organizations non core functions related to document management, reprographics, records and information management, document conversion, and business recovery solutions.



We are searching for a Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing new business for our Business Center, maintaining and growing our significant client base within an assigned geography, and managing and developing our existing sales team. Candidates must have a solid background in reprographics pertaining to the commercial markets.



Key responsibilities include:



Development of a tactical and strategic plan that will function to build a team environment among sales and national sales executives, and functional peers that are geographically dispersed.

Implementation of the strategic plan with measurable milestones

Collaborative development of cross business unit and functional peer relationships within PBMS and other Pitney Bowes divisions.

Development and maintaining a continuous pipeline of new business opportunities, while developing relationships within our existing client base at the executive level.

Quota achievement.

Assuming total ownership for management of the sales team to include assisting with engagement of corporate and cross business unit resources, management of compliance with all company policies relating to new business processes, and assisting with deal closure.

Utilization of Siebel as a management and opportunity tracking tool to manage the pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.

Coordination of activities with other managers nationally to develop cross-region business opportunities.

Development of Sales Executives from a professional/career basis.








REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 5 years successful sales track record in reprographics.

Experience in developing relationships within all levels of an organization

Experience in selling to executive level prospects in Fortune 1000 companies.

Demonstrated enthusiasm and ability to develop complex solutions that combine technology, processes, and people.

Strong PC aptitude with Windows based applications is required.

College degree preferred
