In short, we handle the administrative responsibilities of a business - managing a company's mail and distribution center, running a copy center, and more. PBMS also offers other business solutions, including high-volume print and production mail, records management, desktop publishing, electronic documents, and business recovery services.

As an Area Operations Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the contracted site services and the on-site PBMS team (20-25 employees). In order to achieve these objectives, you will be expected to maintain a high level of client contact; develop site personnel, and maintain a cost effective and profitable site operation.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee Phoenix and Tucson sites, services include but not limited to; litigation copy, mail, fax operations, scanning, imaging, and audio/visual
Develop relationships with customers to understand and refine their perception of our services and their needs
Maximize potential for contract renewals by addressing service and pricing issues
Capitalize on new or expanded services opportunities
Achieve account(s) revenue and profitable budgets
Establish direction and goals: set achievable but demanding goals that are linked to the objectives of the client and PBMS
Coaching and counseling: create a positive atmosphere of professionalism and support
Recognize and reward performance: reward employees for innovation, risk-taking, excellent performance and exceptional efforts to satisfy both internal and external customers
Build commitment/leadership: set a model for employees that reflects the highest ethics, integrity and standards of excellence
Managing diversity: demonstrate commitment to company efforts to achieve a diverse workforce
Judgment and decision making: make sound and logical decisions without unnecessary delay that prove to be correct and effective
Planning and organization: organize initiatives to achieve optimal results and critical timelines
Quality management: demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm for quality to exceed client expectations
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Account Operations Director

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Undergraduate degree preferred
Proven leadership experience required; managing a minimum of 10 employees
Minimum 3 years management experience in a customer service oriented environment required; legal environment preferred
Effective customer relationship building skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills; proven analytical skills
Excellent planning, prioritization and organizational skills
Proven experience in high volume/fast paced environment
Ability to resolve issues without management supervision required
Proven experience in achieving financial goals related to revenue and profitability managing a monthly revenue of $100K to $200K
Computer proficiency in email environments, MS Word/Excel or similar programs
Ability to travel
