Presently we are seeking candidates for an Account Executive located in Dallas to penetrate the Fortune 1000 accounts in a specified territory and develop a team partnership with an inside account manager in order to close small to medium sized businesses along with Fortune 1000 accounts. Use your ability to develop new business with Fortune 1000 accounts, build relationships with existing customers in this role. REPORTS TO: Manager, Region Sales MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. A. Increases new business by: • Identifying prospects, calling on Fortune 1000 accounts and developing relationships with manufacturers' reps. • Developing a complete understanding of the industry through research, reading and continued training. • Managing Fortune 1000 accounts primarily on a face-to-face basis. • Proposing ASAP solutions to problems and opportunities within each account to win business opportunities. B. Increases sales to existing accounts by providing responsive, knowledgeable and high quality service to our customer base. 2. Supports an inside account manager by helping them to close business through a face-to-face sales call. 3. Maintains professional competency by developing an understanding of ASAP and industry programs and policies. 4. Supports corporate objectives by providing feedback to all functional areas. 5. Manages consignment inventory for each account in their territory. 6. Develops relationships with key publishers for lead generation purposes. The above responsibilities represent the major tasks assigned to incumbents on this job title. They are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all tasks.
