Writer/Producer/Editor

The CW Network seeks a Writer/Producer/Editor for the On Air Creative/Music/Graphics department. Position writes, produces and edits Comedy promotional spots for on-air programs. Edits and delivers promotional spots. Writes and produces other video components of marketing including sales featurettes and other long form video presentations. Researches music selections. Performs other related duties as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS degree in Communications, Film/TV, or related field required. Must have strong marketing skills in television and radio promotion/production. Must have strong writing skills, for either broadcast or cable television. Must have strong AVID editing skills. Must have skills in technical process of processing spots from AVID to Online. Must have complete understanding of the "promo process from beginning to completion." Must have excellent supervisory skills. Must have approximately 3-5 years experience in writing and producing on-air promotional announcements. Must have at least 1 year experince as an AVID editor. Must have previous post production experience. Experience with younger-skewing, Comedy promotion campaign desired. Must be able communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, written, telephone). Must be able to pay close attention to detail. Must be able to work efficiently under time constraints. Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
