TCU is currently seeking a creative and dynamic Staff Writer/Editor to assist in the planning, coordinating and production of various marketing materials. This individual will be responsible for researching, writing, editing and proofreading text for all member communications, including newsletters, brochures, ad copy, radio copy, billboard, website, e-marketing and marketing intranet site, miscellaneous press releases and other requested copy. Ensures consistency in content and style in all member communications. Works with the Senior Graphic Designer to coordinate graphics and develop creative copy. Works on special projects to include assisting with promotions and events and provides backup to other Marketing staff as needed. Provides on-site support for all marketing related events such as branch grand openings, parades and trade shows. Excellent PC skills to include Microsoft Office. Requires traveling to outlying Credit Union branches and other facilities. Requires attending special and community-related events during evenings and/or weekends.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years of experience in writing preferably in related industry. Experience in computer desktop publishing and internet graphics programs preferred. BA in Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent experience required.
