Computers Sr. Systems Analyst (F/T) Louisville, KY. Analyze existing processes. Define new Bus. & tech reqmts. Prep detailed logical & physical dsgns. Engage in direct consultation w/ users to dsgn modifications to existing applics. Formulate solutions for specific prgm reqmts utilizing structure during solution dsgn. Analyze, dvlp, implmt & maintain info systms, incl revenue acctg systms, s/ware for cargo operations in accordance w/ estab'd guidelines & scheds & ensure max. throughput & systms availability. Work w/ systms engrs & users on problem log research, root cause analysis, recommend steps for resolution & implmt solutions. Work w/ certification lab to certify changes prior to implmt'n. Provide 3rd level systm support. Dvlp systm, version control, implmt'n, test, & user documentation. Support proper testing of dvlp'd code. Work w/ transportation operational envrmts & gvt regs incl Dangerous Goods. Work w/OO technologies, Data Warehouse & related query tools incl Brio & Impromtu, structures analysis & dsgn skills, MS Project & project planning & estimating tools. Work w/ prgmg langs from user instructions & formal specs using structured dsgn methodologies & computer-aided engg tools. Dvlp prgm codes utilizing COBOL, PASCAL, C/C++, PowerBuilder, VB, Natural/Adabas, HTML, ASP, PL/SQL, SQL Server, Transact-SQL, Oracle, .NET, Advantage: Gen. Must have 6 yrs exp. in job offd or position w/ same duties.
