Medical Records Coding Manager
Five years of Coding Mgt along with CCS.
AS required in related field
Description
The manager is responsible for work performed by the medical records coders. Responsible for maintaining expert coding knowledge and correlating coding accuracy and appropriateness with entities to resolve coding issues and to present information on issues such as, case mix, DRG analysis, physician and nursing education and information collected from coding seminars. Manages the Medical Necessity Compliance Team and insuring the pre-service process is in compliance with Medicare Guidelines, as required
