Manager of Health Information Records

Supervise and coordinate a variety of functions within the Health Information Management department to ensure the efficient delivery of medical record services, including Transcription, Coding and HIM support services. Establish, implement and monitor quality and quantity of work. Coding (ICD and CPT) and DRG assignment as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS1.Current RHIT or RHIA credentials or eligible within 1 year of hire.
2.CCS coding credential preferred.EXPERIENCE
1.Five years medical record experience in a hospital setting.
2.Three years medical record supervisory experience in a hospital setting.
3.Previous ICD and CPT coding and DRG assignment experience preferred.
4.HIPAA training experience preferred
