Manager, Product Management-- VOIP / Voice Recording Products

Market Leader in Enterprise Trading System Communications Product Development is searching for a Senior Product Manager.

The candidate must be an individual with a proven track record defining and managing new product initiatives. He or she must have first-hand experience with the product life cycle and should be experienced with enterprise software design and deployment. The Product Manager will be responsible for identifying new product requirements, qualifying business justification and opportunity, recommending product strategy and competitive positioning, participating in development of required collateral and assisting sales achieve corporate financial goals. This position has a high level of interaction with senior management, sales and external entities including customers.

Accountabilities with Expected Results:
•Defines product requirements and business justification for products within the financial services sector
•Directly manages product evolution from inception through general market availability
. Manage a team of Product Managers, including one remotely.
•Creates competitive analysis benchmarking product capability against other comparable industry products
•Develops sales collateral and presentations communicating product value proposition and messaging.
•Conducts sales training, participates in sales calls and represents the organization as a product expert.
•Participates and contributes in defining product vision, direction and market application
•Seeks new product and market opportunities to increase revenue, improve customer retention and expand offering
•Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise structure to internal and external individuals
•Monitors and reports on product success/failure to senior management

Experience/Skills/Requirements:

•7+ years experience in product management, product development or marketing
•Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required, technical degree preferred, Masters Degree preferred.
•Strong technical skills
•Self-starter – demonstrated ability to structure own work and drive projects from their inception through to completion
•Technical and industry knowledge of enterprise software and/or middleware
•Technical knowledge of desktop application deployment
•The products managed in this department are all software based VOIP total solutions and Voice Recording Total Solutions that are sold to investment banks. Technical knowledge of telecommunications equipment and network architecture desirable; VOIP knowledge is a must have, Voice Recording Product knowledge is a very strong plus. EXPERIENCE MANAGING ENTERPRISE PRODUCTS THAT ARE SPECIFICALLY SOLD TO INVESTMENT BANKS IS ALSO A STRONG PLUS.
