Code of Conduct Systems Analyst (Corporate Secretarial Officer)
The Code of Conduct sets forth the standards of business conduct applicable to all employees and directors of JPMorgan Chase. It is administered by the Office of the Secretary/Legal.
All employees are required to affirm, in writing or electronically, that they have read and understood the Code and will comply with its provisions. This affirmation is required of new hires when they begin work, and periodically a reaffirmation is required of all employees (in general, annually). Employees are also required to report and/or preclear certain outside activities; such data is maintained in the Outside Activities database.
Duties of the Code of Conduct Systems Analyst include:
Support the Annual Reaffirmation Process which involves the notification to and tracking of responses from all employees globally
Manage the ongoing New Hire affirmations process
Follow-up with non-affirmers and their managers
Manage/maintain the Outside Activities database on the TRACS System
Manage/maintain the venture capital board seats on the Corporate Ownership System
Issue MIS reports on affirmations and outside activities to HR business partners, attorneys, compliance, litigation, supervisors, insurance
Support system enhancement projects
Assist with the Code of Conduct Employee Helpline
Assist with Code of Conduct email inquiries
Complete special projects as assigned
(Will be moving to Chase Metrotech Brooklyn office in September 2006.)
REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year college degree
- 3+ years paralegal or comparable experience
- Strong pc skills (advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint); Lotus Notes
- Knowledge of SQL helpful; website development helpful
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Detail-oriented, meticulous, analytical
- Ability to handle multiple assignments and work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Motivated, action-oriented, adaptable
