Business Intake and Records Manager

A National Law Firm is currently seeking a firm-wide Business Intake and Records Manager. This individual’s responsibilities will include: supervising Business Intake and Records Department staff including scheduling, training, counseling and performance evaluations; managing internal procedures for the production, maintenance, storage and retrieval of administrative and client records and information; managing daily operations of the firm’s conflict identification and matter intake and documentation processes; assisting in the development and deployment of policies, procedures, and platforms to automate and enhance the Firm’s existing business intake systems including conflicts, records management, insider-trading and matter opening; managing and tracking departmental budget; developing firm-wide records plans for disaster preparedness, prevention and recovery.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's Degree in File Management Administration or related field is required. Four years of management experience in a Records Department is also required. Law firm management experience is preferred as well as experience with Elite Conflicts and MDY. The ideal candidate will have good judgment, interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
