Test Engineer ( aerospace )

TEST ENGINEER

PURPOSE OF POSITION
Test program requirements management including customer requirements negotiation.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
•Test program risk management including risk identification, logging, mitigation planning and monitoring.
•Test program work identification, organization, planning, scheduling and control.
•Test approach design and detail planning.
•Technical leadership of test set-up and equipment design.
•Technical leadership of sub-contracted test work
•Test program documentation and reporting
•Support of internal and external production readiness activities
•Technical program performance measurement and progress reporting

EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent.


REQUIREMENTS


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•Test project leadership experience on multiple complex programs in the aerospace industry.

TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
•Aerospace electro-mechanical, hydro-mechanical and communication systems integration and qualification testing.
•Familiarity with Lab View based automatic test equipment.
•Project planning, budgeting, scheduling and control.
