Purchasing & Logistics Manager

A leading manufacturer of commercial and residential waterslides, water play features, and wet and dry leisure and entertainment products is seeking a Manager for its Purchasing & Logistics Department. The company designs and manufactures FRP and structural steel components for its products as well as providing design services to customers for waterslide layouts and water play features.

The position encompasses the following disciplines: all materials purchasing, vendor relations, materials research & sourcing, pricing & terms negotiation, inventory maintenance and accountability, logistics coordination including shipment scheduling, product packaging and staging, inter-vendor transport logistics, materials receiving, and management of Purchasing & Logistics personnel.

This is an excellent opportunity for a young, aggressive professional with more than five years experience in a custom manufacturing environment with departmental employee supervision.

Excellent math skills and familiarity with integrated purchasing-receiving financial systems required.
