Global Solutions Electronics CompanyIndustry: DistributionOpportunity to join a successful, exciting, entrepreneurial company as a buyer. Expanding electronic components distributor in beautiful Southwest Florida. Looking for people who enjoy a fun, challenging atmosphere with competitive hourly pay with opportunity for advancement.Full time, entry-level position (occasional overtime) in our distribution headquarters. Daily duties include negotiating a wider variety of electronic components with a global supply chain in support of the company's diverse customer base. Ensure on time delivery of assigned purchases; report any expediting discrepancies; identify value added opportunities to stock within assigned accounts; identify and report value opportunities to Global Solutions; deliver accurate and timely bids to sales team.
REQUIREMENTS
Typing skills: 30 wpm. Computer literate: Word, Excel, Outlook. Reliable attendance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to function successfully within a team environment.We offer paid health care, Revenue sharing Plan, and outstanding opportunities for growth.Must be detail-oriented, self-starter who can take direction and will ask clarifying questions in order to accomplish goals. Must be able to follow prescribed procedures and instructions. Must be able to achieve positive results and work under pressure with time deadlines. Must have the ability to consistently solve complex problems, usually requiring multiple steps. Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone, via fax and via email.Hours will vary and will include three days of 3 PM to 12 AM (including Sunday) -- preferable Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Other days will be regular daytime hours.
