Product Counter / Inventory Management – tracking, reporting, distribution

RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Engage in dedicated product count operations at two facilities
·Complete product counts in a timely manner based on requirements from Supply Chain Specialists and Finance personnel
·Ensure product count accuracy and compliance with Sarbanes Oxley guidelines set forth in count narrative
·Report count results back to Supply Chain Specialists
·Coordinate with manufacturing personnel to ensure inventory in all stages of work in progress is accurately counted
·Coordinate with production personnel to minimize disruption to production operations
·Assist in count reconciliation and root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies
·May also train counters and update procedures as needed
·3rd Shift position with regular work days of Wednesday through Sunday and work hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
REQUIREMENTS
·2 years+ of work experience in distribution or manufacturing operations required
·AS Degree preferred
·Must have competency in written and oral communication skills
·Must be proficient with MS Office applications
·Strong knowledge of inventory control systems
·Inventory control background that includes counting, physical inventory management and inventory tracking and reporting required
