Planning Analyst

Planning Analyst need for global toy company in El Segundo, Ca.The Planning Analyst manages the demands to ensure the right amount of product is available when needed to maximum sales and fill rate while minimizing inventory and excess materials.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:Manages all aspects of demands & inventory of a business:Manages total demands to ensure levels are reasonable given the latest financial forecast.Set up toy line for New Year and establish initial demand phasing & full year quota based on marketing plans & historical sell-through.Monitor demand phasing, sales forecast level & phasing, sales research quota projections, POS, shipments, product availability flow, fill rate, and advertising plans on a regular basis in order to interpret impact, identify issues and recommend actions to resolve potential problems.For immediate consideration, please call the office to schedule an appointment for an interview. Requirements:

Bachelor's degree; 1-3 years demand planning experience a plus; Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload; Possesses a high degree of initiative, drive, confidence, and resilience; Ability to work in fast paced environment; Experience in project management and leading a team a plus; Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to prepare and present information to senior management; Strong Microsoft Excel and database skills (Cognos, systems) APICS certification a plus.
