Material Planning Associate

The Material planning associate is responsible for order confirmation and follow-up with direct and 3rd party suppliers relative to delivery performance and inventory management / reconciliation. The Material Planning assistant is also responsible for ectracting and interpreting ERP system planning data to optimize system performance, developing run-out and obsolete inventory data, supporting innovation planning initiatives and developing TPM data specific to the Manufacturing Support Pillar. In a team environment, this position reports to the Materials manager and works closely and assists all members of the Materials management Department.


1.Supplier Order management – impacts plant performance & schedule adherence.
2.Innovation / new volume planning & scheduling co-ordination – impacts plant performance
3.POI administration – impact on supplier, plant and Supply Chain inventory position
4.ERP system maintenance and analysis – impacts SAP performance
5.TPM MS Pillar administration – impact to plant & Supply Chain asset management.
The Material Planning assistant is responsible for all follow-up communication with external suppliers to ensure on-time performance for all components and raw ingredients to meet required demand loaded to the Clinton plant from five SCP categories. In addition, ERP system planning data, category POI data, innovation administration and MS Pillar TPM activity will be administrated by this position.
REQUIREMENTS
KnowledgeEducationMinimum of 2 year degree in Business. (ASBA)


Experience2 years minimum experience in Materials, Logistics or Operations Management Role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
