Material Planning

Purpose: Key Responsibilities and Tasks As part of the aircraft final assembly activities, the Material Planning will be responsible for the following tasks for the assigned parts:

- Initialize and maintain planning master data as required
- Issue purchase requisitions based on MRP output
- Issue work orders according to the established production plan
- Verify and report the progression of the production flow
- Constantly monitor parts status and shortages to the production floor
- Identify and report the causes of delays and determine appropriate corrective measures
- Expedite critical parts as needed

Minimum Qualifications

- BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred
- 3 years in similar position in an aviation manufacturing environment required
- Experience in helicopter manufacturing desired
- Strong computer skills required
- Experience using computer aided systems
- Experience with SAP manufacturing module or an equivalent desiredClassification:Direct HireCompensation:
