We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Patient Safety to join our Performance Improvement Department.

Ensures that customers receive standards of service in line with the policy and strategy. Guides and directs the team efforts. Ensures that the team has all the required resources to perform as expected. Coordinates a Quality Management and Performance Improvement Program for the Clinical & Nursing staff consistent with the facilities strategic plan. Coordinates all aspects of the Provision of Care performance improvement program including but not limited to pain management, restraints, assessment, reassessment, skin care and falls. Acts as the performance improvement liaison for the nursing and other clinically based departments. Provides feedback to clinical departments on their clinical performance and assists them with analysis and action plans as needed. Tracks performance over time and makes recommendation for improvement.


RN minimum to 2 years of experience in preparing for JCAHO survey. Detail oriented; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills; Comfortable and skilled at working with physicians, health care providers and other stakeholders in the organization; Capable of gaining immediate credibility with individuals through work experience, presentation, communication skills, empathy and compassion; Analytical skills including a working knowledge of basic statistics and statistical analysis methodologies; Knowledge of PC based computer software, i.e. Word, Excel, Access and/or similar systems preferred; Ability to work independently and interdependently; Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements.
