Job Description

As the Inventory Planning and Control Manager, you will have full ownership of the product line master production schedule for the PET business.

Other key responsibilities:
Develop and maintain inventory forecast for annual operating plan and quarterly rolling updates.
Manage inventory throughout the product life cycle: Development, Production, End of Life, Used Equipment and Refurbishment, Excess and Obsolete
Drive material to enable 100% complete and on time shipments
Drive part requirements for the field and ensure the organization meets field supply metrics
Develop and publish proactive management reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures.
Define and manage material control processes based on part usage and value
Maintain operations team inventory metrics, including management and reporting corporate metrics through the Business Balanced Scorecard
Identify and implement planning and inventory management process improvements
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function

Preferred Profile

Relevant Bachelors degree. MBA preferred. 7-10 year experience in a production planning role, preferably in a discrete manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to manage master production and daily/weekly production schedules. Understanding of material control systems including MRP, Kanban and supplier owned/managed inventory. Strong analytical skills, specifically using MS Excel for data analysis and reporting. Good written and verbal communication skills.
