PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is responsible for performing a weekly secondary freight audit, initiating and administering the freight claims process, the creation of monthly financial reports and other related activities that drive continuous improvement for the business.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Analyzes carrier bills for logistics department to determine accuracy of billing and correct coding of invoices.

Ensures financial information is being recorded accurately through the creation and analysis of data on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

Initiates and follows through on the claims process with Life Fitness carriers.

Interfaces with carriers and third party freight payment company to resolve issues related to Accounts Payable items due carriers.

Work on special projects and performs other related duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Prefer one (1) to three (3) years of finance, logistics, accounting or related work experience.
Proficiency in personal computer software programs'Excel, Word, and email.
Excellent verbal and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION:

B.S. OR B.A. ' Finance, Accounting, Logistics & Distribution or Business related Field
