The Inventory Supervisor primary responsibility is to control the inventory of all packaging materials, and all materials related to packaging, from receipt through consumption. This includes material preparation and placement, cycle counting, and accounting for loss and wastage.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

*Establish a baseline inventory cost variance emphasizing A-B-C analysis and develop an action plan to improve material cost variance.
*Keep packaging materials floor stock properly supplied and bulk storage areas neatly arranged.
*All incoming packaging materials must be preplanned with a pre-stage location, verified, and checked against a purchase order.
*Data entry must be performed on a timely manner.
*Regularly monitor bulk storage areas for housekeeping.
*Maintain a Loss & Wastage tracking program and develop an action plan for continuous Loss & Wastage prevention.
*Rountinely cycle count packaging materials.
*Reconcile discrepancies. Properly identify the reason for the discrepancy.
*Direct the year-end inventory count for packaging materials.
*Maintain customer returns.
*Maintain the transfer of packaging materials between the Plant and any warehouse.
*Manage the inventories of excess liquids in drums, drummed liquid rework and of certain finished goods.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements

High School education or equivalent. College degree preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years experience of in a Manufacturing facility. Strong leadership skills and computer skills required.
