Inventory Specialist

The responsibilities of this role include:



Sorts, by unit type, units from final test by verifying correct serial number, ensuring zero cosmetic defects, as appropriate.
Prints and formats the return to vendor reports.
Verifies that all items designated as return to vendor are found on the return to vendor report.
May create a barcode listing for each section of packaged items and sort items by manufacture warranty.
Maintains an accurate inventory count of ready to pack and ready to return to vendor items by
Performing daily physical counts and automated inventory transactions and adjustments as necessary.
Stages pallets of completed items from the production floor to be moved into the warehouse.
Maintains an accurate inventory count of all product(s) warehoused on daily, weekly and/or monthly format as required.
Ensures that all finished goods are brought into inventory.
Formats and provides daily and weekly WIP / Inventory status reports, as appropriate.
Assists supervisor with all inventory replenishment reports, inventory interactions with other departments and vendors.
Verifies daily inventory levels and prepare ‘available’ versus ‘on hand’ finished good inventory report.
Performs other duties as assigned.

job Requirements


Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
High School Diploma or GED, and 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Requires intermediate computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications; Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills.
Candidates must also meet internal transfer eligibility requirements.
