Inventory Planner - RCS - Inventory Planning & Forecasting

Description
Manages inventories through analysis and operations of the replenishment system, including maintaining inputs to computerized inventory system. Includes monitoring of part availability, repair turnaround, inventory levels and assures support requirements and schedules are met. Coordinates with purchasing, production planning, and warehouse personnel to ensure appropriate routing, scheduling, and storing of goods. Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies. Exerts some influence on the overall objective and long-range goals of the organization. Interacts with internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.



Knowledge and Skills
Interface with Engineering, Program Management Office, Product Support Office, and individual LSVSM's to ensure overall project/program alignment.
Manufacturing Experience
High interpersonal communication skills.
Maintain and analyze meaningful performance metrics.
Proven professional attitude toward work assignments, toward customer relationships, and toward company/department Lean goals and vision.


Desirable:
Knowledge of Rockwell Collins CRG & Nameplate processes.
Working knowledge of SAP network/activity development.
Business Warehouse reporting experience.
MS Excel/Access experience.
Knowledge and experience in Lean and/or Six Sigma



U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) is required.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline or six years related experience plus 2 years of related exempt experience.
