Inventory Planner, Ad Sales Operations

iVillage Inc., the leading women's media company, seeks an Ad Inventory Analyst for its Sales Operations Team. In this role the individual will be responsible for the processing of inventory related requests. He/she will coordinate with both the advertising services vendor to determine inventory levels and usage patterns, and with the sales force in discussing allocation and pricing considerations.The chosen individual will possess the ability to be effective in an evolving environment and the desire to make an immediate impact. This environment is best served with a creative and flexible approach. This position will work directly with the Director as well as with the Sales Team as a whole.Essentional Functions:
Coordinate and profitably allocate advertising inventory to specific accounts and advertising packages
Liaise between Sales, System and Accounting in the effective Utilization of ad inventory
Coordinate with advertising server vendor regarding inventory, Traffic and ad service
Ensure adequate and equitable distribution of inventory to specific accounts
Provide input in special ads and/or client programs
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelors degree required
At least 1 year experience in the media salesDesired: Experience in the ad services function within the Internet community strongly preferred
Well-developed spreadsheet skills (Excel preferable)
Strong follow up, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented
Self-Starter, that can manage own work load
Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with multiple areas of the company.General: Job # 546382
