INVENTORY CONTROL MANAGER
International manufacturer of vehicle was systems near LAX has immediate opening for an experienced experienced hands-on Manager to oversee all aspects of inventory control to include parts, stockroom, shipping, receiving and RGA's. The role requires the development and implementation of an overall business plan to achieve the company’s revenue objectives.
The following is a basic overview of the strategic elements and responsibilities of the position.
•Establish trend of each inventory item, determine lead time & ensure correct inventory stock level.
•Keep track of all outgoing inventory including all transfers to production and technicians.•Organize inventory placements and stacking.
•Periodic physical count, complete for year-end.•Control inventory at its lowest possible level, always objective to save expenses.
•Receive & record incoming inventory.
•Implement RGA system•Ensure that all parts are provided to manufacturing for jobs in a timely manner.
Shipping•Continually negotiate for better terms & prices for freight on parts and full truckloads.•Work closely with engineering department with any issues pertaining to new parts.
Computerization
