Inventory Control Analyst

Position Overview: Assist Inventory Control Manager with all necessary projects and insuring that the productivity within the department is acceptable.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities (top 3-4 are indicated with an ?*?):

Assist Inventory Control Manager in various aspects of year end and quarterly inventory preparations (scheduling, cut-offs, packet preparation, etc.)

Assist Inventory Control Manager in various aspects of year end and quarterly inventory reconciliations and perform special projects as required.

Be available to manage area and take on manager's responsibilities as needed.

Prepare all documentation of year end results to be distributed to the Executive Committee and Field Management

Monitor and maintain outstanding carrier claims

Monitor and process retail adjustments and reclassifications
Review and process all necessary adjustments that relate to the LDC Call Center Log
Accountable for merging inventory in remodeled stores
Review and research daily, weekly, and monthly reports
Process weekly and monthly reports
Supervise Clerical Staff
Assist with Transfer Audits, if necessary
Work with Manger to prioritize departmental functions, delegate activities and follow up to ensure all work is performed completely and accurately.
Assist Clerical Staff in researching and resolving discrepancies and problems
Establish and monitor productivity standards for the department and provide management with weekly reports
Implementation and testing of new systems
Problem solving for stores and other internal clients (Merchandising, Accounting, Accounts Payable, etc.)
Back office adjustmentsPeople Management:Direct supervisor of Inventory Control Clerical StaffPosition Requirements:Proficient in Excel and Word
