Inventory Accounting Manager

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee inventory for a large company in the DTC. This role is with a great company and offers a lot of room for advancement. Position will be overseeing 2 inventory analysts but will still be a hands on role. Responsibilities include analyzing inventory and maintaining the correct cost of inventory, setting up reserves and the accounting behind the devaluation of inventory over time. Will also investigate differences within the general ledger as it relates to inventory, spearhead the review of obsolete inventory, prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, coordinate function with auditors, provide Sox compliance support and help with the Oracle system conversion.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidate with have at least 5 years of relevant experience with a degree in accounting or finance. Must be able to work with multiple departments and take a leadership and development role over staff. Oracle experience is a plus.
