Uline, a leading international distributor of packaging and industrial supplies, currently seeks 1st & 2nd Shift Distribution Managers for their Duluth, GA distribution center, located 10 minutes from The Mall of Georgia and 30 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES / REQUIREMENTS:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM
2nd Shift: Sunday - Thursday: 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM
"Hands-on" involvement in all aspects of the distribution operation (small package, LTL, Returns, Receiving, Restock and Transfers)
Lead a department of 20 - 40 warehouse personnel to help Uline meet its productivity goals in a fast-paced environment
Analyze daily reports and use them to improve efficiency within the warehouse
Perform inventory management including cycle counting and aisle checks
Management experience within a high volume distribution environment; 100,000 + sq ft warehouse
Experience operating cherry pickers, standup reach trucks, and forklifts
Exhibits strong team player behavior and encourage this in others
Bachelor's degree preferred
