Demand / Supply Planner

Area of responsibility is as follows:

Demand Side:

Maintains replenishment model information, including monitoring the weekly point-of-sales data, network changes, promotional events, new product information, plan-o-gram resets, and customer service performance goals.

Runs statistical analysis on historical data and validates forecast with Sales, Product Managers and Channel Marketing.

Prepares information and leads the Sales & Operation Meeting for the product categories.

Checks key account orders against forecast for critical items and gives feedback to sales.

Updates the demand management operating system on a timely basis.

Daily Activities:

Manages product category inventory levels to ensure fulfillment of customer orders.

Allocates the inventory for critical items based on future customer orders

Resolves unexpected demand situations with customers through daily communications and regular cross-functional conference calls.

Communicates shifts in demand that could impact company’s service level.

Supply Side:

Analyzes total item forecast against current and future inventory status.

Determines size and timing of purchase orders for items in product categories.

Prioritizes inbound shipments based on critical item list.

Generates reports of overstocked and slow-moving items for timely disposition.
REQUIREMENTS
The Imation working environment is extremely fast-paced. The organization is looking for an individual who has a passion for supply chain and who is willing to step forward and contribute to changes. Most important, the successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to focus on day-to-day details but also manage the product categories from a strategic point-of-view.

This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge and practical experience using industry demand management & planning software systems.
