Buyer-Planner

Daily Responsibilities to achieve in stock %, inventory turns & order fill rate goals include:

Analyze item history using current JDA/E3 program to replenish assigned Vendor line-up.

Monitor vendor minimums, lead times and other buying requirements.

Monitor on time and completeness of Vendor purchase orders.
Communicate with other departments and take initiative when situation warrants.

Maintain relationship with vendors; including providing forecast reports, promotional data, etc.

Utilize multiple offline reports from Access and Excel to be proactive in order to obtain goals.

Perform other duties as required, including projects for overall improvement.
Job Requirements
College degree in a business discipline preferred, or the equivalent in related training or work experience.

Minimum of 3 years rebuying experience required. JDA/E3 or experience on a demand planning & forecasting system preferred.

Ability to work independently with little supervision; self-motivation a must.

Flexible attitude; excellent organizational and informational gathering skills.

Proficient PC skills, including strong ability using MS Access and other programs in Microsoft Office Suite.

Demonstrates the ability to plan and supervise the work of others.

Demonstrates strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
