Holland Company, a recognized leader in rail services, has over 400 employees throughout the U.S. and Canada and sales approaching $70 million. We now seek a future-directed individual to join our winning team in Crete, Illinois.

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for:
- Railcar part purchasing for several locations throughout the country
- Placing purchase orders and involvement in vendor negotiations process
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities to drive purchasing costs down
- Process improvement and purchasing responsibility for other areas of the company as needed

To qualify, we require:

- 5-7 yrs experience in purchasing or related field
- 4-year logistics/supply management degree preferred
- Machine Shop experience strongly preferred
- Manufacturing & ISO experience helpful
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Lotus Notes)
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
- Ability to read & interpret mechanical drawings
