Job Description:
Production Underwriter that will be responsible for the on-going development of the Southern California WorldRisk Region; Responsibilities include underwriting of risks, adhering to underwriting guidelines, procuring of reinsurance as required, dialogue with Home Office Referral Underwriters or Manager as required when quoting and binding of risks that are suitable fits for WorldRisk; facilitate in working with the Berkeley Heights WorldRisk division relative to the retention of renewals and local intervention when and if required. Excellent communication skills a must with the ability to sell the right deal; Basic computer skills required for MS Office, Excel, etc. as required. Organized individual who can also work in an independent arena. Travel into territory assigned ( outside of immediate Los Angeles area as required. Maintaining and developing broker / agency contacts and relationships as well as seeking new business opportunities for WorldRisk and/or WorldSource where appropriate.
