Underwriter/Manager, West Coast

He/she will proactively manage rate/pricing adequacy and competitive market pricing conflicts, build and maintain productive external relationships (broker/client) and build productive internal relationships with support service partners. He/she will be responsible for establishing a Zurich presence with regional management for major production sources as well as manage regional resources, processes and workflows. This position will be based in our San Francisco office but the ideal candidate must be available to temporarily relocate to NYC for training in the home office. Salary and title will depend on years/type of experience.
Job Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent Underwriting experience required. 3-7 years of experience in D & O required. E & O, Fiduciary and Crime a plus. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
