As a member of our exclusive team, you'll enjoy exceptional rewards and growth opportunities.We are currently seeking an individual to fill the open Underwiter position.The Underwriter is responsible for providing consistent and accurate mortgage loan underwriting complying with New Century and investor guidelines. This position requires a quick thinker who can accurately multi-task under tight deadlines and become familiar with changing internal/legal/state specific/investor guidelines in a timely fashion.High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) and three years underwriting experience and thorough knowledge of credit, compliance, appraisal, documentation requirements in "A" paper and/or nonprime lending environment in either retail or wholesale loans. Must be able to underwrite at least 7-8 files a day. A general knowledge of legal and regulatory issues is required.
