SENIOR SAFETY SPECIALIST

ENVIRONMENTAL PXP Plains Exploration & Production Company (Oil and Gas Industry) PXP is an independent oil and gas company. We are currently recruiting for the following position at our Los Angeles, CA (Inglewood) location. Sr. Safety SpecialistPerforms monthly inspections of field safety equipment and facilities for compliance, facilitates manager meetings to advance relationship between Operations and EH&S, develop and conduct training sessions on a variety of environmental, safety and operational subjects, plan strategies for implementations of new systems and programs developed by EH&S, participate in the incident management team.
2 year, A.A. degree in science or business, college degree preferred. Minimum 5 years experience in an Oil and Gas related job.
