Project Manager This position works closely with the Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer on projects/assignments of all sizes and complexities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from the beginning stages of scope and planning through implementation and evaluation. Key functions will include analyzing, developing, implementing, organizing and maintaining effective and efficient department operations and processes. The chosen candidate will be relied on to exercise their project management experience to manage such projects as financial, sales and competitive analysis, which may include analysis of business plans, preparation of presentations, cost containment initiatives, etc.Requirements:

5+ years related experience.

Post-graduate degree (MBA) or equivalent preferred.

Solid knowledge of accounting concepts, practices and procedures.

Knowledge of project management methods and practices.

Knowledge of financial services, insurance industry preferred.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently and within deadline.

Effective verbal/written communication/presentation skills.

Detail-orientation and self-motivation.

Strong independent work habits.

Effective negotiation, coaching, training and motivational skills.

Team player with ability to handle confidential projects/situations with discretion.

Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access), Lotus, Lotus Notes.
