Program Policy Analyst

PROGRAM POLICY ANALYST
The Program Policy Analyst resides in the CalOptima Kids program and functions as a key liaison within CalOptima, interacting with all levels of internal staff and with external organizations including CBOs and regulatory agencies. Duties of this position include program development and operations, serving as the Managed Risk Medical Insurance Board (MRMIB) liaison to respond to day to day questions regarding the CalOptima’s Kids Plan, and Membership Trending and Analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
This position requires the ability to analyze and make recommendations regarding program/policy issues, strong project management skills with the ability to follow through with minimal supervision or guidance. A Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Policy or Health Care, Business Administration or related field preferred as well as three plus years knowledge of managed care experience, operations, or healthcare field, preferably in product line or finance. A minimum of 2-3 years experience in project management, strong team building and presentations skills required.
