Medicare Sales Manager Needed in Phoenix, AZ!!

? Researches the health plan’s current service area to assess the competitive landscape and market opportunities including development of new products and potential service area expansion.
?Utilizes a strong sales background to increase the enrollment base of the plan and achieve the enrollment projections
?Provides clear, direct communication to plan and Senior Executives and other functional senior managers to ensure a consistent understanding of business opportunities, resource needs and profitability goals.
?Creates and implements retention focused program to ensure maintenance of current enrollment
?Manages company-wide projects by identifying and coordinating the project team, developing work plans and ensuring completion within required time frames.
?Develops and maintains trusted relationships with key market influencers (e.g. consultants, regulators, clients) to support the acquisition of new business.
?In coordination with the Corporate Director of Medicare Services, develops sales and retention/marketing strategies that will result in profitable growth. This position also hires and oversees sales staff responsible for Medicare sales efforts.?Strong marketing and sales background with demonstrated success in enrollee acquisition and retention
?Incumbent must have a minimum of 10 years experience in managed health care administration, with a minimum of 5 years Medicare/Medicaid experience
?Bachelor degree in closely related field is preferred, although an equivalent combination of formal education and recent and related experience may substitute for a degree.
?Effective and advanced interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment are required.
?Experience in a complex, competitive environment with diverse racial, ethnic and socio-economic factors.
