Job Description for the Insurance Licensing Specialist:

This position is responsible for the licensing and appointing of registered representatives with various states and insurance agencies. These processes will be completed using knowledge and understanding of various state insurance licensing and NASD securities registration regulations. Provides customer service to Financial Advisors over the phone and through written correspondence, performs general clerical duties, including data entry, generating departmental letters and processing applications.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements of the Insurance Licensing Specialist:
A minimum of two years experience in insurance
Brokerage industry experience
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
Detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be proficient in MS Office
Excellent problem solving skills
Be able to work in a team environment or independently Insurance license would be ideal however not required
